Question: What can I do if Allplan does not start?
Answer: Work through the steps below:
Step 1 - Run as administrator. Start Allplan via the right-click context menu and choose the ‘Run as administrator’ option. If this does not work proceed to step 2.
Step 2 - Perform a cleanup of Allplan. Open Allmenu then go to: Service -> Hotline Tools -> cleanup -> OK. If Allplan does not start, go to step 3.
Step 3 - Perform a cleanup of the standard Allplan folder cleanstd. Open Allmenu then go to: Service -> Hotline Tools -> cleanstd: reset CAD defaults -> OK -> OK -> Yes -> OK
If Allplan does not start, restore the settings:
Allmenu -> Service -> Hotline Tools -> laststd: restore the last settings -> OK -> OK -> Yes -> OK
Continue to step 4.
Step 4 - Perform a cleanup of the registry settings, cleanreg. Open Allmenu then go to: Service -> Hotline Tools -> cleanreg: reset CAD registry settings -> OK -> OK -> Yes -> OK
If Allplan does not start, restore the registry settings:
Allmenu -> Service -> Hotline Tools -> lastreg:restore most recent CAD registry settings -> OK -> OK -> Yes -> OK
Continue to step 4.
Step 5 - Restart the Wibu service. Start CodeMeter Control Center. To do this, use the Windows start menu and select CodeMeter -> CodeMeter Control Center. As an alternative, open Search by clicking the Search button on the Start screen and enter Codemeter.
CodeMeter Control Center -> Process -> Start CodeMeter Service. If the service is running, stop it and restart it. If Allplan does not start, go to step 6.
Step 6 - Go to the Wibu website and install CodeMeter User Runtime Version for Windows (64-bit version). You can find the installation program at https://www.wibu.com/de/anwendersoftware.html
Start the ‘CodeMeterRuntime.exe’ file. To do this, right-click this file and select ‘Run as administrator’. Confirm all messages displayed and the defaults by clicking ‘Next’. CodeMeter Control Center will be installed afterwards.
If Allplan does not start contact technical support at support.us@allplan.com
Send the following information by email:
- An exact description of the last step before the error or crash occurred.
- The error message itself (as a screenshot).
